Restaurant Athos in Freyburg

-Nice service - Food is great in my opinion.

The good at the beginning, staff friendly. You get full from the food, but qualitatively I can only confirm that it is in the lower midfield compared to other Greek restaurants. Please do not ask the boss about card payment, something could be done with the wooden spoon.

The waitresses are extremely lovely and very engaging every time. That gives us a lot of pleasure every time we visit. The decoration on the squares and in the whole restaurant is reasonable and stylish. The toilet is always clean and all in all the restaurant gives a harmonious impression. I think the prices are completely ok. As for me, think my friend and I have already ordered the whole menu up and down. The dish was brought very quickly.

Greek-authentic flair, extremely attentive, friendly staff and dishes where you close your eyes and enjoy with every bite. Also a great vegan item on the menu and fantastic selection of Greek wines! For our office the perfect lunch menu with a large selection but also a highlight in the evening.

The salmon was tender and delicious 😋, the squids were on point. The beef fillet was perfectly medium and to die for. The waiters and the boss are friendly and speak German very well. The way they serve the food looks good, just like they pour the mocha. I am 200 percent satisfied.

Super local with a great view, the food was delicious, the interior very cozy and inviting. The service is very professional, courteous and above all super friendly. I can safely recommend this one locally. We will be back. You are great keep it up. 👍

We always enjoy being here. It's always tasty and the service is always very nice and polite. In our area we checked out all the Greek restaurants and tried ours. And yet we always prefer to go to Freyburg. The boss in particular is one of the best and most loved people in this restaurant. I would recommend this place again and again. For us, Georgios Tassos gets 5 stars plus

Relaxed, cozy, nice atmosphere and really delicious food in generous portions! Everything is freshly prepared, you can taste it. The various home-baked dishes are delicious. Absolutely fair in terms of price and the staff is friendly and very hospitable. We would love to come back.

The food didn't taste good at all and the waiter was so unfriendly. In Greek restaurants I am used to having an ouzo at the end. MISPRINT. we haven't seen it yet !! It would be better to close the shop.

1 star only. The boss is annoyed. The staff didn't even know which beer was on tap. Instead of Sprite, Spezi was served. The wrong food brought to the wrong table ... Without a system, this Greek ... There was no seasoning in the food, and the boss ... Better not to speak to him! This corner of Freyburg is noisy. Full of street noise and no place to linger. Sorry the greeting Uzo doesn't make up for it. Never again.

My family and I are a fan of Greek cuisine. This stands for harmony, sociability and of course delicious food. But we had to experience that there is also a completely different way at the Athos in Freyburg. After we placed our order and nothing happened 20 minutes later (drinks) my wife dared to ask the young waiter. As a result, as if stung by a tarantula, the boss came to our table to explain that we don't have to bother his staff. Unfortunately, I ignored my wife's request to leave the restaurant immediately. After a meal that wasn't worth the money we ordered a beer and the bill from the same waiter. Then a family came to the next table. 25 minutes later they left the restaurant exasperated because they were completely ignored like us. Then finally the bill came (without beer) and we wanted to leave the restaurant. At the exit we talked to a couple who informed us that their orders were being ignored as well as ours. The young waiter noticed this and said: would they finally go now: We then spoke to the boss who then told us that we should not come back please. If bad behavior, absolute indifference and boundless arrogance is exemplified by the host, one cannot blame the staff, however. So if you have had enough of harmony and joy and want to get really angry, I recommend the Athos in Freyburg.

It seems that all service employees are responsible for all tables. You will forget someone. In addition, as a guest you feel rather annoying if you still have a concern. Food was OK. But nothing more.

We are very excited. We would be welcomed very nicely. Very friendly served. The food was delicious. The arthos potatoes are also highly recommended. The restaurant was well attended and we would still be served very quickly. They also granted us a wish. We can only recommend the Athos.

Food was ok, staff was pleasant We were there for the CL final and were knocked out with the final whistle, which we found very negative. Since Sky is actively offered there. Ouzo is also reserved for what we know differently.

Where has the famous Greek hospitality gone ???? The boss was snotty towards the guests, the staff was incompetent and the food was rather lower category and then there was not even a Uzo to greet you or to finish off. In my home region, this restaurateur could don't last long. In times of Corona, the guest should be treated as a tender plant.

The food was already to CA. 10 minutes on site. The quality was accordingly, as if it was pre-cooked and as if it was heated in the microwave. We have never eaten so bad Greek. Absolutely unacceptable for the price. Every fast food bar can do it better. The staff wasn't particularly friendly either. The Uzo was only available before and after the bad feedback, unlike other guests, not after.

It's actually not even worth listing the reasons for the bad rating here. The other recessions speak for themselves. I would like to exempt the very nice waiter, who I just feel sorry for what he has to experience there every day.

You didn't really deserve the one star. The food could have been seasoned, but it didn't taste like anything. The food came quickly & the drinks were immediately added but I'm a waitress myself & that was not a good service you could at least have come to the table & asked if everything was OK our empty glasses were ignored the tables were not cleared & our plates also do not speak for a good restaurant to pay you had to go before all in all I have never eaten so bad & we will save a second visit PS: If your little waiter is the youngster there when he is sitting at the table & mumbles quietly there are guests coming again, I would ask myself what is wrong with them you can tell that he is not keen on the job & waiter clothes would also have been appropriate

Greek as you can expect it. Good meat with ouzo. :-)

Service is friendly, attentive and fast - there were only a few guests. Menu is the standard of this type of restaurant. Delicious.
